HUZZAH! (the game)

HUZZAH! is a portable
people-watching scavenger hunt for one or more
players. The
goal
is
to be the first player to flip over five word
tiles in a
row, column or diagonal on the board and shout “HUZZAH!”
Each game board comes with 28 Renaissance word tiles, a storage bag, and chalk to keep tally of the score at the top of the slate. Since the tiles are removable, the game boards can change with each game. There are more than 100 different word tiles in all, each with a different Ren item to find. Words range from "turkey leg" to "bird of prey" from "bodice sunburn" to "codpiece" and from "winged fairy" to "nobility." Puns and other creative usages may be allowed. "Lance" may be a weapon, or a friend of yours. Pouring "mead" into the "dust" would make a "puddle of mud" but would be a criminal waste of mead! It could even make you into a "scoundrel in the stocks." For a more challenging game, players may agree on additional rules: objects must be touched, players must remain seated, etc.
